OKLAHOMA CITY - The All-City Athletic Conference (ACAC) is proud to announce the inaugural OKCPS Bowl Series, a postseason football event featuring the five OKCPS teams competing in independent schedules this Fall.

Featuring three of OKCPS Athletics' key partners, (MetroTech, TTCU, and Dental Depot) these bowl games are a postseason opportunity for the competing schools geared toward increasing overall participation that ties directly into the district's Guardrail 4B.

“Our board-approved Guardrail 4B challenges us to get more scholars involved and keep them connected," said Shane Sanders, OKCPS Executive Director of Athletics. "Our bowl game series helps bring that commitment to life, giving scholar-athletes another opportunity to compete, celebrate their commitment, and show more kids there’s a place for them on a team in OKCPS Athletics. That’s OKCPS Beyond the Game.”

During the course of the regular season, the five participating teams in the Bowl Series (Capitol Hill, Classen SAS @ NE, John Marshall, Northwest Classen, and U.S. Grant) competed against each other in a 100-point model based on overall winning percentage, record against ACAC opponents, and strength of schedule. Their overall scores for the season placed them in a respected bowl at the end of the season by the OKCPS Bowl Series Committee.

Another team participating in independent district play this season is Enid, who competed against two OKCPS teams earlier this Fall, and was earlier agreed upon to participate in the OKCPS Bowl Week schedule.
